Technical Director

Jim has over 20 years’ experience in telecoms and IT, primarily working for consulting and professional services organisations advising clients on ICT strategy and execution.

He has led numerous client engagements across a wide range of technologies, market sectors and geographies. His clients include Thomson Reuters, AT&T, Cisco, Vodafone, Alcatel-Lucent, Telecom NZ, Huawei Technologies, American Express, BT, O2 & Orange.

Jim has experience of working with most common industry frameworks for the execution of IT projects including TOGAF for Enterprise Architecture, ITIL & eTOM for Service Management and PRINCE2, PMI & Agile for project methodology.

He provides technical leadership within Bluefish and assists in developing the strategic direction of the company. He ensures the organisation’s capabilities reflect technologies and trends within the industry and contribute to future business growth.

Jim has a Masters degree in Electronic and Electrical Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer (CEng) with The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and holds the Cisco Certified Internetworking Engineer (CCIE) certification.

He is currently supporting one of our key clients, Thomson Reuters, in an interim role as Global Head of Network Architecture.
